PressOn recently had the pleasure of producing a bespoke wallpaper from the Robin Sprong wallpaper collection for one of the four sites that completes the Borough Market-led Bakery & School, Bread Ahead!
After starting as a bakery that sold directly to customers, it was becoming more apparent that people wanted to spend more time enjoying the charm (and the delicious pastries!) that their surroundings offered.
The Robin Sprong team helped develop a rich, oversize tartan that brought out the beauty of the wood cladding already in place, and the rustic hues of the bread.
Printed with PressOn’s LX HP 3500 with Latex ink, the substrate is Digimura Tactile wallpaper allowing high quality visuals with a beautifully natural, textured surface.
Lisa Helmanis, Creative Director for Day Studio says “As a designer, I’ve wanted to work with Robin Sprong for a while and I knew as soon as I had the idea for a Scottish theme that they would be able to help create something unique. For Christmas we added in some handmade traditional wreaths that really brought together the shades of the season and adds reference to the Highlands. It feels almost like linen and we couldn’t be more delighted”.
